"Horrible accommodation. Booked a non smoking room and received a smoking room. When we requested a room change, we were told that only smoking rooms were left. The alarm clock in the room rang at 4am in the morning. Don't stay here."

The breakfast and dinner was served by older ladies that did not necessarily speak English but definitely kept trying to make it an amazing experience each time. The variety of the served food was just overwhelming. So delicious and always something freshly cooked right at your table. Since we live in Japan, were used to certain aspects of a hotel room here, such as a tea kettle and coffee, plus some cups - and we missed those things. On the other hand, it was great to sleep on a bed that was not as hard as most Japanese mattresses. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was definitely appreciated. "Very welcoming place. Staff do everything they can to help you. About 10 minutes walk from sakka lifts at Happo and hotel runs shuttle services to and from the slopes each day either direct to Happo, goryu or bus terminal and then bus take you onwards to the many other Hakuba slopes. Breakfast buffet is quite good. Onsen on site is great. One of the best places I've stayed. "
