I stayed in hotels of all levels all over Japan. I never had any had a design like this. The size of bathroom small, that did not matter and can be normal in Japan. It was the toilet on an angle in front of the door open and make it impossible to get into the bathroom. I stayed in placew where bathroom is same size and...

"Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as. Nara is it’s own destination & my favorite part of my whole whirlwind journey through Japan."
