Communication from Villas De La Selva was excellent with Simon setting up a tour for us and providing important information. He was there with a friendly smile to greet us when we arrived; he showed us to our villa and was available throughout our visit. "60's style motel directly on the beach. Very basic, and scrupulously clean, both rooms and pool, with a good bed. The courtyard has a gate opening on the beach. Our host, Bret, is warm and welcoming. It has no services, but it's only a short block from the main street and adjacent to an excellent reasonably-priced restaurant. We planned to stay for one night but ended up staying three. We will be back."

The pool was a decent size.The location was also so perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach, and about a 15 minute to the center of Jaco. Loved my stay!"

"This hotel was so lovely, I was so impressed by both the service and facilities. The check-in is at el Faro hotel but this is really very close, like next door close. The Faro restaurant and pools are fab and are up a small hill but the walk is perfectly fine for a normally fit person and the view is worth the climb. Room was great, clean, bigger than I expected with outdoor space. Bed was so comfy. Facilities in the room and hotel were impeccable and the location is the best in town. Right next...

"Except for size of bathroom stalls, I was pleased with everything about this property. Everything was very clean. No hot water but with the hot weather cold showers were exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was simple and delicious. My fear of bedbugs were alleviated as soon as I saw how clean the room was. "
