"Beautiful setting and spectacular view from our room. The pool is beautiful! The beach is nice, but access to the water is a bit challenging. The service in the restaurant is a bit slow, but not a huge deal, considering the view. All of the food was excellent, as were the cocktails"

"Owner was friendly through text , workers were great !!! Until my little one broke a drinking vase & the lady tried to get over on my husband & charge him $80 for it. Meanwhile the cook in Spanish was laughing & saying it’s no more then $20 10,000 colonies! That rubbed us the wrong way , we tipped every worker the whole stay! "We loved our stay in Luxury Standard Room 209 at Tulemar. We saw squirrel monkeys daily from our balcony, and toucans, sloths, scarlet macaws, leaf-cutter ants, frogs, bats, and iguanas on the grounds also. The private beach was never crowded, and we appreciated the complimentary umbrellas and chairs, as well as the ability to order food and drinks from Tule Cafe while on the beach. "Hotel was quiet, quaint and completely relaxing. The breakfast was astounding. The vibe of the place is very welcoming, non-judgmental, and comfortable which is so important in a clothing optional establishment. It was perfect to lay by the pool, soak in the Costa Rican sun, and enjoy the waterfall pool and hot tub. Wildlife here was amazing...and came to us: we saw three sloths, iguanas, macaws, toucans, and squirrel monkeys! Better than a paid tour - at our doorsteps. Stephen & Gato...

"Overall this property is family friendly and nice. Walkable from most party areas in Jaco. The only issue I had with is the maintenance. The bubblers in plunge were not working and hit water wasn’t working in couple of bathrooms. Even after multiple reminders and requests the property management failed to fix that. "
