"I’ve traveled all over Japan and this my worst stop. The staff is cordial enough, but it goes down from there… first, they charge you for everything from towels to ear plugs to toothbrushes. This was off-putting to say the least. Next, the sleeping area is filthy with the entrance filled with smelly shoes, bags scattered all over the floor, trash not emptied timely. The toilets were hit or miss I might add. The sleeping arrangement? I was unlucky enough to have a bed with a view of the bed next...

"I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was clean and quiet and I felt safe. It was so nice being right in the middle of Chinatown and I absolutely love Kobe. The staff was helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is a budget place to stay so I did not have high expectations and could overlook most things. However, I do find that the absence of hand soap in the toilet areas to be problematic. Washing with soap after using the toilet is just basic hygiene and I cannot overlook this, especially if it was a cost-saving measure just to save a few yen per day."
