"Very clear instructions by emails after booking. Effective communication by English via email or face to face. Very helpful staff. Excellent cleanliness in common area. Walking distance to both train stations and has bus stop in front of the hostel. Has hot water, coffee & tea supplies & clear instructions on cooking ramen by microwave oven. Could be better if there is a pantry for simple cooking with an individual sink. Will return to this hostel when revisiting Mt. Fuji area again "

"So near to the FujiQ amusement park. A few train stops from Kawaguchiko Station or you can also walk a few hundred meters to the hotel while exploring the area along the way. In the early morning while walking my way back to Kawaguchiko station, Mount Fuji was so clear in full visibility that it looked like a giant & haunting spirit being. It was massive & jaw dropping! "We loved our time at Fuji Guesthouse. We stayed in their traditional Japanese room, which was spacious for the two of us the night before we began our Mt. Fuji ascent. Both staff members we interacted with were not only kind during our stay, but extended their hospitality beyond it, offering us to store our luggage while we were on the mountain, and allowing us to shower upon our return. It was a great experience in a small town. Next time I find myself in Fujikawaguchiko, I will certainly try...
