"The location was excellent and the staff was wonderful. Our stay at Hotel Magenta 38 was great…very close to the metro, restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again. The only tip I have is for people not to add the ‘hotel booking protection’ from Expedia because only God knows what it’s for, it doesn’t count toward your reservation and there’s basically no use/reason for it. I’ve disputed this w/ Expedia, just waiting to hear back (nothing to do with the hotel). "

"Next to the train station and it’s a cute little hotel .Walkable distance to a bunch of restaurants and if that’s not the case everything is accessible via train station. Clean room clean bathroom I would recommend😊"

"This is a lovingly maintained hotel in the 9th arrondissement. The constant improvements are clear in the charming lobby and classy conversion of the basement into a business center. Both are done with style. Those who have spent time in Paris will appreciate the AC and clever incorporation of an elevator in the original stairway’s original central column. The rooms were clean, spacious for Paris, and the bathrooms recently updated. The only thing lacking was not tea kettle or way to have hot...

"Room generally well kept but basin plug wasn't working. Desk and stool too small to be much use. Clothes hanging space has room for a safe which would be useful. Lighting a bit poor if you're using the desk."

"Staff was very accommodating. Arrived from an early flight and we were planning to ask if we could leave our luggage in the hotel before the 2pm check-in time, however, they allowed us to have an early check-in without us asking at no extra charge. Very happy with our stay."
