"I only stayed one night and booked a room with the balcony overlooking the train station. It’s a great view, the rooms are as described, the staff is nice. I didn’t try the food. My one piece of advice is that if you want the balcony room also bring earplugs. The room is well sound proofed but when every car outside the gare du nord is beeping at each other, you are going to hear it. I hadn’t considered the potential traffic noise in this area when booking. "
