We liked the area actually as lots of options to eat out, cafes etc and walkable to things we wanted to see. Not in a super touristy area which was nice, as during December, Paris is extremely busy. Rooms are basic but nice. Bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom spacious. Little wardrobe to hang bigger items like jackets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Lovely boutique hotel a couple of metro stops from Gare du Nord. Walkable to Republique where there are a number of restaurants. One of the best bakeries in Paris around the corner. The hotel room was a decent size, clean, and comfy. "
