"From the delicious meals to the excellent customer service, we felt that we were had boarded a luxurious ocean cruise and rather than checked into a hotel in the Alps. One can walk to hiking trails and jump on the cable cars directly from the hotel. Gerlos is a tiny tourist village filled with only hotels and restaurants, but there is a decent supermarket for grabbing drinks and snacks. "We really enjoyed our 4 days in one of the apartments here. They are on an upper level of an ultra-modern building, which is very nicely set up. Comfortable bed and bedding! We were completely self-catering, so did not try the adjacent restaurant.
