"I gave the property 4 stars for the age of the property, especially in the room (carpet, decor, etc.), and incrediblye tiny-ness of the bathroom-- it's smaller than RV bathrooms but gets the job done. HOWEVER, for the area and for primarily being a ski resort rental, it was way more than adequate and I'd definitely stay there again. "This is an amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Zermatt and a mere 4 minute walk from the train station. Staff were very nice, rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. They have an attached restaurant and bar that were great. Both have great atmosphere with a cozy fireplace in the lobby bar. Great saunas and steam rooms on the lowest level. Ski storage room as well and a nice gym. Perfect place to stay on all fronts. "

"Not a lodge/hotel but a 2 room apartment. 3rd floor walk up using narrow stairs; no elevator. Great location. Small but adequate balcony overlooking main street of Zermatt. Noisy bedroom until 10:00 PM. With occasional noisy groups passing below until 2:00. Internet connection terrible, very intermittent. Living room tiny. Extra charge for cleaning. Would not recommend "
