"The room was very well-prepared and the owner is kind and helpful, and seems like she has some interesting stories to tell. I was hoping the bar would be a gathering spot for all the guests, but I never saw it open (appears to be by reservation?) That we were encouraged to return by 9 PM was also a bit onerous (given it is 30 minutes from the city centre), but an understandable part of the guesthouse experience."

"This lodging was perfect for visiting the park. Facility was clean, quiet, our room was spacious, & the staff very friendly. They let us know about evening lantern event, and breakfast available for purchase at 9am in a cafe near by. Location in the park is convienent for some travelers without transportation visiting the park. It was a short hike from the bus stop at the museum. "Everything was great. Shower had a traditional japanese bath and shower setup with a sink just outside to wash in the morning. Several nearby shops for dinner and breakfast and the Tengachaya station is about 10 minute walk and can get you to the Namba area in maybe 20 mins. There are 4 futon beds and a couch on the first floor. The stairs up are about half my foot size so watch out when walking downstairs, and if you're 6ft also on the way up because i hit my head on the ceiling once haha....

"Candeo is an excellent hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the metro station. It also offers a Limousine bus service to Osaka area airports at 8:00 am, 11:00 am, and 3:00 pm. Kids especially enjoy staying here. The rooms are fantastic, featuring beautiful city views. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, though it doesn’t have a dresser if you're traveling with a lot of clothes; there’s space for 2-3 pieces of luggage. I stayed in an Executive room, which was great because it included access to the Executive Lounge. The lounge is open from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm and can be enjoyed with friends and family. The lounge offers a selection of gin, vodka, and Japanese whiskey, while kids can enjoy apple and orange juices, sparkling soda, and tonic water. There’s also a variety of cookies, snacks, a cheese board, and cold cuts like salami and ham. The sauna area is a highlight, featuring cold and warm sitting pools for a relaxing sauna experience."

"Nice hotel with a great view if you are staying on the higher floors. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Great location near subway system. Only a 10-15 min walk to Yasaka Shrine and Dotonburi and the Glica man. Room is clean and beds are comfortable!"
