"It was absolutely just what we required for a one night visit. Extremely well places near British rail stations and directly on the Broad Street. Good size room, clean and well presented. Breakfast inc in the cost, thoroughly enjoyed what was a good selections. "

"Liked the comfort of the beds spacious room with large TV in room, complimentry water bottles, coffee machine all was ok just disappointed with the supposed 24 hour snacks not being available the excuse was they were having problems with the oven although it was just a sandwich I wanted. My last stay didn't have them available as they were having chef problems. The Duty Manager will look into these problems though. "

"Up and coming area with lots happening,Birmingham as a whole is trying to rebuild post COVID. The motel is working hard to upgrade all facilities, so be prepared for a little noise ( but manageable). Staff were really helpful"

"If you are looking for a hotel with charm and an old world feel, this is it. While it's not one of those chain hotels, it's got a comfy, cozy feeling with lots of history (Tolkien stayed here). The rooms are very comfortable with lots of charm & character. I can't say enough about how nice & welcoming the staff is either. Top notch. Order the morning breakfast, well worth the cost. Very close to Uni of Birmingham & about 2 miles from Bull Ring, downtown area. Right on transit routes, so no need for a car. Very close by a grocery store. Honestly, couldn't be happier with my choice. If you are looking for a chain hotel, this isn't it, but if you are looking for something different, this is the place for you. 6 out of 5 stars. AMAZING"
