"My family stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our holiday Iceland trip from the states. The host had great communication and was very prepared with check in and home instructions. The place was very clean and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We only wished we stayed a little longer to be able to see all the sights in the area. Would definitely recommend renting this home for an experience outside of the city. "

"Great property. But distant from the primary tourist destinations like the golden circle points. Restaurant food is great (though limited vegetarian options- which is expected) and staff is super friendly and happy to help plan any outings. Hot baths are a great place to relax. Great for northern lights viewing as husafell has less light pollution."

"We stayed in the bungalow which was very new and clean. It looks exactly as presented in the pictures. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was decent. The bungalows have their own outdoor hot tub and sauna area which was nice. There are about 12 bungalows total (I think), so it could get crowded in that hot tub and sauna when the hotel is busy given they weren’t very big. It seems like a good place to see northern lights, we just didn’t get lucky during our stay. Only downside from our stay was no smart tv (unless we just weren’t able to figure it out), but you can easily plug in an Amazon fire stick. Also, due to some issue, the hot tub was more like a warm tub. We recognize things happen so we won’t let it affect the review, but still disappointing. Overall would recommend"

"We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. It is not far from the parking, or the main building, but he just gave us the keys and pointed outside, rather than just take the 5 min walk and show us the room. The breakfast was adequate and the view was good from the breakfast cafe. We did not see the northern lights that night, but the place can be great to see the northern lights. The cafe has microwave, and it is possible that they let you warm your own food there. The room had the coffee maker only. "
