"I loved this property, it was quirky and really comfortable, the bedding was amazing and I would happily steal that quilt, but we couldn’t turn the temperature down in the shower and there wasn’t a lift, so no good if you have any mobility issues, luckily we don’t, but really loved our stay"

"A lovely change to stay in a historic property with character. Ideally situated for the Brixton Academy. The welcome on arrival was friendly. Our suite was amazing and included small details to make our stay special. All staff at the half moon were great and we had an excellent evening meal. The cooked to order breakfast was one of the best. Would definitely recommend this place to get away from the corporate offerings and experience some genuine hospitality. "

"This is such a treasure in central London! Just steps from Farringdon underground on the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow airport. Huge room with comfy bed; modern large bathroom with fluffy towels. Pub noise (not loud) stops promptly at 11pm. Host was friendly and helpful. Lots of old pubs and nice restaurants just minutes away."

"Was a bit confused to get the keys from the pub but eventually we get it sorted quickly. Staff was very friendly and room was perfect for our needs. Car park was opposite the room so could even keep an eye on my car overnight. Parking was free on the weekend."

"I had a comfy bed. Heating was easily controlled. Very basic accommodation but had good tea/ coffee facilities. Very small shower but adequate. Seemed to be a lovely popular pub in a lovely area and a footpath were you could go for a walk but I wasnt there long enough to enjoy any of these things. There is some frequent noise from planes going to Gatwick but I took my earplugs. I would certainly stay again because I was very happy there and felt safe even though I was a lady on my own in one of...
