"Overall had a great stay at the Hotel Mariposa. It's a pretty clean place with decent rooms and nice amenities for a hotel at this price range. Service is exceptional. Ashley was super nice and very welcoming at the front desk and when I had an issue with my room safe the nice Australian guy fixed the issue immediately. All of the staff were friendly. 2 things to note: 1) they have a nice large hot tub but no pool in case you are looking for swimming 2) Parking is $25/nt but if you are flexible...

"This is an average property. Def not luxury. Rough scratch towels and only a few of them. Furnishings were modest. Home needed painting, cupboards and amenities just average. The pool photo’s made it look like luxury. The check in process was not smooth. We were sent two messages about a hidden key, instead there was a lock box. After reaching out we were informed of lockbox and code. Keys were old, locks needed graphite. Very uncomfortable for a woman alone btw. Still, the place...

"This is a cozy house in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It had everything we needed for a restful, restorative stay . The gardens and pool are lovely . We enjoyed meeting the owner who was always helpful and pleasant. Certainly would love to return!"

"I came to California for a long weekend to visit my new granddaughter. I wanted a location that was close to my sons's house. My plan was simply to sleep at the VRBO since most of our time was going to be spent at my son's house. This location was perfect. The property was very clean and exactly what we wanted. The host had excellent communication with us. Everything worked out perfectly."

"We stayed at this property for 3 weeks during our displacement from the fire in Altadena. The home is beautiful, roomy, cozy, well supplied, and just a pleasure to come home to during a really stressful time. The owner/manager was very pleasant and helpful. The location was ideal and close to shopping and restaurants. We would love to stay again under more pleasant circumstances. I’d give it 6 stars if I could."
