"Large spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location. We had the luxury studio with the jacuzzi. Note that the water pressure for the shower was just so-so. We had stayed at another room earlier with just a shower stall - the water pressure was fabulous in that room. "

"A very good experience checking in. Got an upgrade which was great. The room was large, lounge living area, and two seperate bedrooms. The athroom was large with a very good shower and a seperate toilet which is most unusual for this type of place. All was clean and well stocked. The manager was helpful, friendly, and a had a great sense of humour. Very good experience over all"

"We booked this room for a night's sleepover only after coming off the late afternoon ferry crossing from Wellington. The room was compact, so would have been limited for a longer stay but was all we needed. Had a good sized, modern bathroom."

"Excellent. Ferry arrived in late and the manager very kindly made arrangements for us to check in after the office closed. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable with two different pillow choices per person. Aircon was great. Stayed 2 nights. Great stay. Would happily stay again."

"It began with chatty and helpful David at checkin, who offered us an upgrade to an upper floor, larger suite with better airflow through the windows. He personally walked us over, and pointed out the cafe out the back gate right next door at the campground, and the bike rentals place beside it. And of course we could now see the sea too, 400m away. Big suite with comfy sofa, kitchenette, kithcen table and balcony with table and chairs too. Good sized bedroom with huge, comfy bed. "Ideal to catch ferry to Wellington. Very nice couple, allowed us to check in very early as room ready, no extracost. Very spacious - supermarket and eateries close by. Pretty harbour area."

"All of the staff that I interacted with had the best customer service I have ever come across in Nelson - and that’s saying something because I lived there for 24 years. The *only* thing that may stop me staying there again in the future is actually a major positive for the park - the entire grounds are smoke free! As a smoker myself, this was a tiny bit of a pain but, it was so nice to see that this was a policy considering the amount of children that probably stay there 😁. Well done all....

"Really impressed with how clean the room and the bathroom was. Bed had two electric blankets (wonderful for chilly NZ late fall night). Bathroom also had a heater. Front desk set up an early morning taxi. Easy location to walk to dinner. "
