The motel is immaculately clean, bright and modern , with a fantastically equipped kitchen area , dishwasher with the dishwasher soap supplied, and access to washing machines and dryers on the ground floor. "We were passing through Picton stayed for one night only. The bedroom & bathroom were clean, no kitchen but there was a kettle etc, fridge & a microwave, did the job. The host was very friendly and helpful with information. The location was close, 5mns in a car, to the ferry and town, handy! I would recommend. "

"What a wonderful property! We rented the one bedroom “hut” with a private bath. The little hut was adorable, very clean and nicely outfitted. The grounds were amazing, with a well stocked shared kitchen, cute little living area, washing machine and open air drying area and lots of rabbits too! Fellow residents were a wonderful bunch and we enjoyed meeting everyone. You can also rent ebikes on site and they gave us an amazing discount on really high quality bikes. "In many respects this should get a 5***** review, as the attention to detail and all the little extras are just superb. But it was all a little too much for me. And please, the gravel drive doesn’t work with heavy wheeled suitcases."

"We received a lovely welcome to the property and were shown all the little bits and pieces that made the room special and that were thoughtful additions to the general experience. The hosts are lovely and friendly, and the breakfasts are out of this world! Each day a new menu which included a lovely variation of omelets but included home made muesli, a variety of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, orange juice - the works. "Such a wonderful location over looking the vineyards. The studio was a lovely size, nice and spacious. Nice to enjoy a wander through the vines and both Anna and Brett were very welcoming. A lovely quiet location and the breakfasts were gorgeous! Had a wonderful stay and would definately recommend and we do plan to be back!"

"Awesome central location, clean, modern, well equipped apartments. Quiet, with a comfortable spacious bed, & bonus of a pool to relax in. Will be my 1st choice when back in Nelson again. Walk to town, restaurants or enjoy many local trails & parks. It just gets better. Polite & cheerful management. Lovely stay."

Good location near beach in Nelson

"The Beachcomber Hotel has an excellent location, across the street from a large park, with the beach just past the park. There is also restaurants very close by. Our room was a bit small but met our needs. There is not air conditioning, but a fan helped."
