"A fabulous B&B that is made so friendly and enjoyable by the host Mark. Front green room with stunning views and a verandah was great. The breakfasts were the highlight as it was in the formal lounge room and cooked to perfection by Mark. It was a very welcoming stay thank you Mark."

"Great views from the Harris suite. The room was really lovely and spacious. We really liked the private decking area. The host was really friendly and helpful, and provided breakfast early so that we could check out early. Would have loved to have stayed longer. "

"We are a couple in our 50s and came to Blenheim to visit its renowned wineries. We stayed at the French Fields for 2 nights and it really exceeded all our expectations. If I could give it 6 stars I would. The location is super convenient for getting to the wineries. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was breath taking. The fresh lavender scent from the fields and the bird songs were calming. Natashya and Jonathan were gracious hosts who...

"Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat."

"The cabin/ cottage is gorgeous with grazing sheep in the paddock near by. Beautiful established gardens with lots of bird songs. Hellen and Dave were so welcoming and gracious to us. They allowed our family to use their pool. Beautiful walking areas along the river banks. This is our second visit and we will definitely come back again. "

"We only spent one night in Nelson but we left wanting to stay longer. Mark and John are terrific hosts and make you feel so welcome, the house and gardens are fantastic both \have some amazing things to discover. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to visit Nelson."

"A very nice property close to the wineries"

"Wonderful stay with our hosts who did more than was expected. Nothing was a problem. They even met us at the train station with our luggage so we would not have to walk back from town. What a treat breakfast was. I would book again in a heartbeat. "

"This place was great. Pretty, good breakfast, good location. Except it is not handicap accessible. If I had known that there were stepp, irregular, slanted and long steps to front door without even a railing, I would not have booked. Also difficult if you habe heavy luggage. I think the fact that it isn't accessible should be in the description."
