"The young women that welcomed us at reception was helpful and friendly. The bed linen and bed were fine. New net curtains were fresh and clean. Heater was efficient. Bathroom basin nice and clean and spacious. Regular and efficient trash removal. However: No plug for the sink. Lacked dishcloth, face cloths and toweling was basic. "I was both kept awake and woken by an intermittent jolting “whoosh” sound. NI have stayed at Oaks twice b4 & have experienced the same thing. The noise is hard to describe/define but I think it’s mechanical - maybe air conditioning or similar & if I were the owner, I would find a way to record one whole night to determine the cause. What a pity - I felt very tired and seedy going into a busy day. Thanks Dee"
