RiverHouse Hotel

2.0 star property
5.6 out of 10, (626)
"Hotel needs total overall to bring up to required modern standards - floors squeak when walked on, sink had no plug, flooring in bathroom coming up, TV was ancient and did not work anyway. First room given - the radiator did not work so room was like an ice box so has to be asked to move which the hotel did to a room where the radiator worked. Everything needs ripping out and new modern furniture put in plus re decorated all over."

"The pillows on all three beds were flatter than I have ever seen. They should all be replaced. The rooms are comfortable, but clearly the carpets have seen a lot drunkards. A bit overpriced for what you get, however, you are paying for convenience. The staff were fantastic, the parking is quite difficult to find and the chaos of Dublin and all the crowds in this area make it difficult to navigate to. I wouldn't recommend brining a car, but getting dropped off. You can walk from here to anything...

"Location is great, especially for those who want to be in the thick of revelry! We were able to easily walk to local tourist attractions including St. Patrick’s, Trinity College and St. Stephen’s Park. We had an issue with our hotel room door, but the hotel staff was quick to respond and provided a quick fix. Our room was compact but sufficient and clean, the bathroom was pretty small- pretty sure the shower measured about 3.5’ x 3.5’ and I don’t think the setup of the bathroom allows for a...
