RiverHouse Hotel

2.0 star property
5.6 out of 10, (626)
"Hotel needs total overall to bring up to required modern standards - floors squeak when walked on, sink had no plug, flooring in bathroom coming up, TV was ancient and did not work anyway. First room given - the radiator did not work so room was like an ice box so has to be asked to move which the hotel did to a room where the radiator worked. Everything needs ripping out and new modern furniture put in plus re decorated all over."

Good breakfast buffet with a lot of options for vegetarians—fruit and porridge and pancakes and cereals and almond milk. I did mention to the manager the lack of veggie sausages and he said, “We’ll have some for you tomorrow.” And for an added bonus, there is a Tesco right across the street.
