"I liked that it was central enough and the people who worked there were friendly. Could’ve mentioned that I needed my check in card once it got late as security would require it to let me in but everything else was a vibe. "

"Best price for being in the city center. Nice and quiet, not really a hostel, no staff really present, but good if you're not looking for the party scene and want to be close to the best parts of Dublin. The pods give great privacy and are actually cozy."

The Dawson Hostel

1.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (6)
"Very convenient for exploring Dublin. Get what you expect from a hostel, 24/7 front desk which is good. Only small issue is rooms at the rear of the hostel are a bit of a trek to get to and back onto a nightclub, fine if you're in the club until closing which we ended up doing both nights."

Ashfield Hostel

2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (152)
"Good hostel. Each bed has plugs, light and a ledge which was nice to use. No curtains. Downfall would be no communal showers so although there was a shower in the room you might have to wait for others in the room. There were two additional toilets downstairs. Kitchen was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walkable to almost everything. Upstairs rooms are probably quieter at night."

"It was a great stay! Very convenient with buses to go from the airport and to the city center. The price is very good and the breakfast is complete with lots of choices. The only problem was that we could hear people party outside quite loudly, so I wouldn't recommend to anyo e having trouble sleeping! Also, the mattresses were quite hard."

"Excellent stay at the Leevin Hostel. Just stayed the one night, but the facilities there (kitchen, communal rooms, garden etc) are fantastic, so could have easily stayed longer. The venue is clean and well lit. The hallways are quirky, like an old country mansion which I quite liked. Staff are incredibly patient and helpful. Would highly recommend."

"You get what you pay for. It was the least expensive of the hotel options in Ireland. Not that close to the attractions, but public transportation is easily accessible. The room gives you the basics. No tv, coffee maker or hair dryer. There is a coffee shop and a convenient store on the ground floor. There is a shared kitchen on every floor. It suit our needs since we were out most of the time."
