"Great sized hotel room. Stunning views from balcony. Handy location to town. Car park is a bit of a squeeze for larger cars and there is no direct lift from carpark to rooms on other side of lobby - have to navigate lobby stairs with suitcases. Hillary's was only open for breakfast and tables in bar are not suitable height if you have a plated evening meal. We would have dined in at night if dinner was served in Hillary's "

"Overall all was good. Did not like the $15 parking fee nightly. Fortunately found a park on street. Needs totally refurbishment but bed was very comfortable and it was toasty warm. Wonderful meals also. "

"Worth paying the extra for a lake view, outstanding. Not to far from the town center. Nice staff and a spacious apartment with good facilities including washer and dryer. "

"Easy short walk to town centre for shopping, and tourist activities, and plenty of quality restaurants. Hotel rooms were comfortable, spacious (we had a Studio room) and modern. Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Easy car parking in local street. We would definitely stay here again."

"Everything was to our liking - particularly the spaciousness of the room and the cleanliness. We didn't take breakfast as we felt that NZ$38 per person was a bridge too far... Hopefully, the hotel in future could offer some less expensive options."
