"Online check-in was smooth. The reception staff were welcoming. The room was comfortable and spacious with all the essential conveniences available. There was a good variety of breakfast. The location was ideal, close to the motorways and only a short drive to the Co op live arena. The car park was included with no extra charge. I would recommend to stay here."

"So, the place itself is lovely, food is very good and the service is brill. Room was lovely however, there was a very strong smell of sewerage from the bathroom, there was definitely a build up somewhere which we did report on check out. This was Room 17 and in the corridor you could smell it a little. They said they would speak to maintenance and sort it. But overall, a lovely little valentines trip with the other half. Would defo return. "

"Lovely place, comfortable clean room and good breakfast. I didn’t eat in the restaurant / bar in the evening but it was packed and the food looked really good. I was welcomed at reception by a friendly helpful receptionist and the lady serving breakfast was also friendly and helpful. In all it was a really good experience and I will be returning. "

"The staff members were so amazingly helpful and friendly. As a solo traveler with a cane I struggle with stairs and excessive walking but the staff helped me to my room when I arrived and Katen even helped we all the way to the train platform across the way when I left. While this location is remote the charm and guality mke it a beautiful destination stay and the food was to die for. I had one minor issue in my room and they resolved it while I was out so 5/5"

"A lot bigger than i realised. It was a great suprise. Good size room, big shower room. Where the hotel shines is by doing all the simple thing right. - high pressure shower - 2 chairs in room - bowl of sweets - comfy king size bed - good quality pillows - good soundproofing - comfortable temp. - friendly, helpful staff - good quality, fresh breakfast I thoroughly enjoyed staying. "Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the town centre. Nice comfy clean and well maintained room. Very effective heating (which we turned down for sleeping!) on a bitterly cold February weekend. There's a limited number of free customer (non bookable) car parking spaces at the front of the building.
