Windows disgustingly filthy outside - probably never been cleaned, even though they are Velux type. Floor tiles in toilet mouldy and cracked, shower door cannot be opened more than 40 degrees and has normal shower head, not a rainfall type as stated by Hotel.com. Fixed front door blinds not adjustable and let security light...

"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . There are many things to do swimming , cycling , walking , visit the hotel vegetable garden and see the birds enroute . I look forward to visiting Spier next year after its...
