"I do like this hotel and have stayed several times. Rooms are clean and views are beautiful any time of year. Only complaint is the beverage center at breakfast this time was gross. Water pitcher had warm water and dirt spots all over it on a not busy morning. I love the pool and hot tub but the chlorine was a little unbearable in the hot tub. Otherwise i love it there and will continue to stay there when im in the area."

"Captain Thompson's resort is an outstanding resort. It has the best location of any in Alex Bay. It is within walking distance of everything. The view of the river and Bolt Castle in units on the main channel is second to none. The staff was very helpful and professional. The manager, Lisa, was exceptional! We plan to be a regular visitor every year."
