"Pros, hotel was very clean, service was good, breakfast good. Shuttle to and from St Augustine very helpful. Cons, location was noisy from traffic. They were supposed to offer a complimentary beverage or room upgrade and they neglected to do so. "

"The property was very clean. The room was spacious and had both a refrigerator and microwave which made it very convenient. The front desk staff were very kind and courteous. Rhonda went above and beyond to answer all question's we had, provide excellent customer service and was patient with us. The shower was very nice and TV's were very large. Despite the construction in the lobby, this was one of the best stays and we look forward to coming back! "

"Wonderful setting and close walking to restaurants and downtown St. Augustine. Staff went above and beyond customer service. Breakfast was plentiful and different selections each morning of our five night stay. On Wednesday night is the manager's reception in the evening with wine and finger foods it was a nice touch to our stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Throughout our four-night stay at Smart Stay, we experienced a high level of satisfaction. The room was comfortable, clean, and the front desk personnel provided us with clean towels and coffee pods in a timely manner despite a missing housekeeping day. The complimentary breakfasts were a highlight. We will certainly consider staying there again. "Our room had a (OK, closed) door separating from our neighbors' room but it was as if we were sharing a single room, the four of us, two couples !!!! We could even hear our neighbor breathing. That's not what is normally called "privacy". This has been most annoying."

"The property was a comfortable place to spend time just relaxing. Just steps to the beach and restaurants. The only discrepancy would be the VRBO description states "Dishwasher" and there is not one available. Also, there are a large selection of pots and pans, but only 3 that worked on the convection stovetop. but being that there was just 2 of us it all worked out fine. "
