"Reggie at the front desk was friendly and quick checking us in. He treated us as if we were VIP. The room was clean and had everything you could need for a stay (fast internet, microwave, fridge, TV with decent channels). The water pressure was great, too, if you care about that. "The front desk staff and housekeepers were all very nice. A special thank you to the young man at the front desk last night when my laundry duty went over the laundry closing time. He told me to just let him know when I needed. In to purchase into the dryer and when my clothes were dry so I could take them out and to my room. The lighting on the property makes it much more visible at night and gives a much safer feeling to the guests. There are many fast food & sit down restaurants in the area...

"My wife and I stayed at the Rambler for a long weekend away. We went to SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo and the Old Town Trolley Tour. The Rambler’s location was perfect! About 15 minutes from downtown San Diego meant we were not going to be disrupted by a lot of noise (like planes landing and taking off) but still close enough that a quick drive got us to everything. Our room was great! Very clean and it seemed like it was newly renovated. The bed was VERY comfortable and the shower had better water...
