It is however an incredibly old house, which means you can hear everything - made us very aware of any noise we made - talking, walking, etc. Very glad we stayed here as was a very unique property, just something to keep in mind as felt very aware of any sounds we made. "The location was stunning with the ocean on one side and the volcano on the other side. Very quiet and tiny village with a couple great restaurants/coffee shop. Within walking distance to the trail head of the Hellnar-Arnarstapi hike. The cottage was cozy and the beds comfy. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!"
