"As advertised - the room was able to accommodate me and my 3 children. We were treated to a show of the northern lights during our stay. We had to depart rather early but the staff was amazing and accommodated us with hot coffee and bagged lunches for the trip. We were in the main building - but I would return and stay in one of the beautiful cabins. "

"We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent. It would have been nice if they'd offered a dinner option too, but the owner was able to recommend the restaurant at the nearby Hotel Smyrlabjorg. We ate there both nights and the food was amazing.
