"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "

"We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. We would have loved to stay longer!"

"We had a lovely, unique stay in that remote cottage. We loved the quietness, coziness and the big sky. Really enjoyed the mountain and sheep in the background. Did I mention we were fortunate to wath the northern lights for hours?"

"The cabin was charming and comfortable, and the property is surrounded by beautiful wild flowers. The sauna heats up quickly and is spacious. The private setting makes for a great sauna session. "The location was stunning with the ocean on one side and the volcano on the other side. Very quiet and tiny village with a couple great restaurants/coffee shop. Within walking distance to the trail head of the Hellnar-Arnarstapi hike. The cottage was cozy and the beds comfy. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!"
