"Very clean, modern property, breakfast options are great and tasty, breakfast hours 6-10 am is a plus, rooms were cleaned daily, towels and beddings were changed daily as well, nice friendly staff, very close to the airport, hotels shuttle runs from 5am till 8am only. Overall great place to stay. "

"The one thing that came up was that the inn tells you they'll wake you if the lights are visible. If there's no staff during the night, who is waking you up if the lights are showing. The last night of the stay, the lights were visible some places. Had they been visible that night before 3am, who was there to let people know?"

"The Retreat gave a bona fide feel of luxury and quality service, not to mention the lagoon, aurora, spa and especially the ever existing peril of another volcanic eruption, combined to form a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We may want come back in the summer to taste out the long-day light season at the Blue Lagoon!"

"We had a flight arriving in Keflavik at 445am and wanted a place to lay our heads. I found this place and booked last minute. The price was very reasonable for a 4-person room, I reached out to the hotel very early morning about having a late check out, and they responded very fast, accommodating our request. "It was clean comfortable enough. Shower provides a lot of hot water, but it was a little difficult to control the temperature. I wish it had shampoo available. Breakfast is simple but good enough for a couple of days stay. And it was quite nice to be able to have it after 4AM. Speaking of location, it is very convenient because 24/7 market is nearby. "

"A super sweet spot with very helpful staff and owners, a lovely full morning breakfast, right near the Keflavik international airport. We didn't spend a ton of time here cuz we're busy out and about but it would have been a lovely landing spot to sit, read books and hang on the hot tub."
