"The pool area seemed a little rundown needs to be remodeled. Other than that really can’t complain bellhops valet service was very friendly very helpful all in all really nice place. I guess the side of the island on they get a lot of trash from the ocean so the beach is very dirty. But there’s nothing the hotel could do about that. Kawaii is very beautiful hotel is close to the airport. Restaurants are decent on the resort. Definitely would go back again."

The resort was quiet and comfortably isolated so you felt very relaxed, yet it was within walking distance of a quaint little shopping district where you could get food, drinks, and gifts. "This is always our home away from home when we go to Kauai. We have been there several times over the last few years. We love the two bedroom two bath on the ground floor. It is a nice layout and very spacious. Parking is included and very convenient. The hotel is in a great location. Close to the city and also the airport. We will be back!"

"The staff was so friendly. One of them even gave us her personal beach chairs to take out for the day. They have bikes available for free for day use as first come first serve. Property is beautiful and area around it has LOTS to eat/shop/ we had a car and it was perfect central location to see the whole island! Will definitely stay there again."

"For a budget friendly price, it was a very spacious 2 bedroom/bathroom villa. The rooms are dated but totally fine. The only complaint was the master room in B16 did not cool and smelled mildewy. I ended up turning off that unit and blew a fan from the living down the hall to the bedroom. That worked ok. I did tell the desk about the AC issue. The grounds and access to the Outrigger pools and bars welas great. Very friendly staff. Would stay again. "

"We enjoyed the location - walk to a beach for sunrise and kayak in the evening on the river. It was an extremely peaceful setting. The room was comfortable and it was fantastic to have a kitchen with a nice size refrigerator. There was even free laundry on premise! Complimentary beach gear and kayak equipment were available. The grounds would have benefited from more watering and love. We look forward to a return visit."
