"We really enjoyed our 7-night stay at the Westin Princeville. It was recommended to us by friends and it didn't disappoint. It was always easy to find chairs at the pool, no matter the time of day. "This is a very nice property in a great area (Kapaa). The location is fairly central and easy to access. It’s also next to the Coconut Marketplace which was very helpful. (The ABC Store has some good supplies, souvenirs and groceries.) There’s a Safeway nearby as well. The grounds and landscape was gorgeous, the room was clean and the room was fairly quiet at night. "

"They charge extra to park plus resort fee, that was a surprise. Only one hot tub was working, but it was not too crowded. The hula demonstration, and the hula and lei- making classes were outstanding. It wasn't pretentious at all, and overall very friendly and nice. Did not use any other "spa" facilities, so cannot comment."

"It was easy check in. The rooms were well maintained. The entire room was clean and they had maintained it well. Our room had AC and TV. The washroom was big and neat. The only downside was no kettle, microwave or any other appliances or plates for us to eat. The only option is motel. "

"Great place for a few nights. Due to the storms, we unexpectedly found ourselves without a place on Kauai for 2 nights. Kauai Palms was available and had what we needed: a kitchen for all the groceries we had previously bought. The receptionist could not have been more friendly, understanding, and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage on the last day for a couple of hours for free. There is no view. It is down a city street. Typical old-school motel, but still lovely in its own way."

"Nice area, close to the harbor. We got a second floor two-bedroom property with excellent views of the harbor area and cruise ships. Easy access to the airport and shopping around is a plus. We enjoyed our stay here."

"Enjoyed the home like comfort of the suite. Walking to the beach was easy. Nice setting for the grouping of accommodations. The suite got a bit warm in the afternoon but we were usually out by then. Cooled down nicely in the evening though with all the air moving through the unit. The beach chairs and beach umbrella, although missing a spoke, was very nice for the beach. There was some traffic noise in the bedroom so had to keep the jalousie windows closed. It did die down early in the evening...

"Really enjoyed my time at this hotel. I was on a solo birthday trip, but they went above and beyond to be sure I was comfortable. Pool area was beautiful and I enjoyed the 7am yoga that the hotel offered. My favorite thing was the pool bar and all the food selections were yummy. Only thing would be parking late at night, the lot gets full so it was hard to find a spot coming back late, but I had such an amazing time and the hotel is located close to many restaurants and conveniently on the beach. Thank you!"

"This property is close to the ocean and the airport. It is clean with a fun pool area that kids would love. It has 3 hot tubs which was also nice. They let you check out towels to take to the beach and they have a nice grill you can use as well. The staff was friendly and very helpful and let us have a late check out so we wouldn’t have to wait at the airport all afternoon. We had a great time! "
