"Surfer's Bay is a hidden gem. My husband and I visited Barbados for a wedding and this privately owned, quaint resort was pefect. The room was what I expected and the location was absolute amazing. The views, the relaxing vibes and the easy to go service was all that we needed. We will be back but would definitely recommend to family and friends!"

"We recently celebrated our 25th anniversary at the Soco Hotel and it was amazing. We had such a great time, it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed. The guest were mostly older/retired but everyonewas very nice, we are in our mid 40s. If you are looking for a party scene this is not the place. The hotel was in a central location, the room was large with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The beach was rocky, definitely bring water shoes. Chairs and umbrella were provided which was great. There is also a boardwalk that connects the hotel to a lot of local restaurants on the stretch along the ocean. The public beach was only 5 min drive away and free to get in and free parking. If you wanted loungers and an umbrella it was $20 for the day. The receptionist Shaniqua and Ms. Linda at the front desk were friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Ms. Judith our housekeeper that surprised us by decorating our room and was just so kind in making sure we were taken care of. A special thanks to our bartenders Shane and Michelle who were both wonderful and made the best Bajan rum punch ever ank kept the liquor flowing. Thanks to all the hotess/waitresses that served us as well and made us feel special. Cons: Rocky Beach Plus: All meals were made to order and wonderful staff. "
