"This hotel is not the best I’ve ever stayed in, it’s looking a bit tired in the rooms, corridors and public areas. But, it’s good value and clean and near the station. However what makes this hotel is the staff - they are fabulous, nothing is too much trouble for them, chatty and friendly and very helpful. An example : I asked for a late check-out for a work meeting at midday, which unfortunately they couldn’t do because of other bookings but offered me a space in the bar area for a work meeting where they said they’d cordon off a space and keep it quiet for me. In the end the meeting got cancelled, but super helpful. Fully recommended as long as you don’t expect 4/5* luxury. "
