"The hotel is dated and in need of modernisation however the rooms are clean and comfortable and of a good size. There is ample parking on site and the staff are helpful and friendly."

"Was a small wait to check in as it’s just round corner at the bar, was given a sea view room with balcony which was very nice ( was £10 dearer on booking and not selected so classing as a nice upgrade) Bar area is very nice. Breakfast is served from 7.30 which is a little late and meant I couldn’t partake, would be great if you brought it forward to 6.30/7.00 for people who are staying for work and need to travel. "

"Hotel was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, I was given a room next to the lifts and had to put up with noise from the lift doors opening/closing throughout the evening and people talking whilst waiting for the lift. My towels appear to have been replaced by the room cleaner despite being left as requested in locations so they wouldnt be replaced! A short walk to the train station and a bit further into the main shopping centre. The staff, especially in the meeting suite were helpful and...

"I often stay at The Vermont and have always had a good experience. On this occassion, Daniel (don't think iv seen him before) at Reception was amazing. We had a very early start and were tired from our journey. Daniel swifty took care of our bags and bought us some coffee. Helped us with suggestions for Brunch places. Overall, Daniel was very kind, helpful and has amazing front of house presence. "

"It’s not a quiet hotel what makes the hotel is the staff Rooms are small no fridge but I’m not marking down the hotel for this as the staff make the difference. Rooms are decorated well good sized tv If you going read this review it’s worth a visit if you like large rooms and not on the main road don’t book and leave a silly review. Staff make this hotel it’s compact but take note of the above. Close to everything you need without the huge price tag "
