There were quite a lot of stains on my carpet which was off putting and no water in the room, which feels like standard practice. "We had a nice stay, the staff were nice, the room was a bit tired, comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room, quiet, great view from bedroom. Great location for local sites and Newbury races, plenty of parking. Lovery grounds to walk in, a Golf driving range on site, as well as a Golf course. within the grounds. We would come again, possibly with friends to play Golf in the Morning and go to the Races in the afternoon. We didn't have food at the property so cant comment. Good restaurants...

"Loved the proper coffee machine and a complimentary beer. Nice decor, comfortable bed, large bathroom. As previous reviews commented, you can hear the noise from the bar a bit, but it never bothered me (a light sleeper may want to bring some ear buds as the building is in the city centre so shouting outside can sometime be quite loud). But the location (close to station and amenities) definitely outweigh any issues. I would definitely stay again."
