Today it is still a luxury hotel with many decor updates so it feels fresh and new while keeping a beautiful traditional vibe. The dim sum at its restaurant is quintessential. There is a direct bus service from the hotel to Hong Kong International Airport - around $20. Super convenient. "

"it’s still the same issue. dining room staff need to be trained to compete with other fine dining restaurant. Had dinner at the jade river restaurant and tried the tasting menu and wasn’t too impressed. staff needed to be told to change the plates. very friendly but need to be more attentive. comparing with the fine dinner I had at the Grand Hyatt, jade river’s food and service and way way behind"

"More can be done for the cleanliness. There were a few stains on towels. Floor was carpeted but you can see that the edges and corners were not cleaned with lots of dust. However, for 3 pax, we get a big space with living room and 2 bedrooms. We like the space for the price. Nearby not many dining options but were grateful to have at least a convenience shop and a bakery downbstairs where we can get coffee and freshly-made bread and croissants."

"The room was good wi-fi excellent air conditioning excellent room cleaning excellent unfortunately the area is not good for walking the footpaths are full of electric scooters bip bip all the time just push there way through you cannot go for a peaceful walk in this area plenty of good family restaurants good food good price pity about this area so busy with scooters and trolleys full of bundles of clothes being delivered every where all day everyday day if I go back to Gaungzhou I will not stay...
