"When we arrived the room smelled like smoke and there was water on the floor from the AC unit. It took a few days to get the AC unit fixed. The smoke smell was there through out our stay even though we had the windows open. I am guessing this was a smoking room when it was a Hilton Hotel. Otherwise, great location and a good property."

"The property was great! It is close to good restaurants and walking along the canal. I had difficulties opening the door and the owners were quite helpful. It is important to read the information in the link provided about the property. Currently, there is construction across the street so it was quite noisy. I would stay again!"

"Loved my stay here, everything was spot on as described in the listing!😄 Very clean, very spacious, easy access for check in and locating our unit🤗Our host Noah was absolutely AMAZING at responding quickly with any questions we had. "We enjoyed our stay at the Mint House Scottsdale (Griffin Apartments) Very nice apartment...just as pictures show. Balcony didn't have the best view, but that was ok. Pool area was beautiful but heaters did not work on hot tub or pool. Easy walk to Old Town Scottsdale and grocery story and restaurants. "

"Our room on the third floor was in a 29 year old motel that has been moderately maintained. It was spacious with dated furniture. The plumbing, A/C, and lighting worked well. The location was great, and it was very quiet. The ever-present cockroaches mainly stayed in the kitchen and bath. We did not use the scarcely supplied kitchen, but restaurants were abundant near the unit. Overall, it was an adequate unit for the price paid. "

"When I reserved this place and messaged Natalie an introduction of who we were and why we were in Phoenix I got NO RESPONSE.....I thought, oh well, that's ok. A week or so later, I messaged her asking about a hair dryer and got NO RESPONSE.....I was a little irritated but figured not a big deal. The day before check-in I messaged her asking how we access her place and got NO RESPONSE! On the morning of check-in I called her and got a voice mailbox that was full. "We were pretty desperate to find a place to stay and found this one. It met our expectations given the price point. The information regarding the possibility of other guests smoking was accurate and it was a bit smelly upon entering the building but it was clean and the staff was very nice. Easy check in process. Very clear. We ran our air conditioning pretty cold the whole time to help with any possible odors. It seemed to work and we enjoyed the stay."
