"My stay was wonderful! The staff are all so very nice and helpful. I chatted with people of all ages and I saw several family & friend groups. The room and common spaces are kept very clean. There are lockers to secure valuables and personal items on your floor. I was pleasantly surprised that there is a kitchen and I was able to cook a few meals which was a huge plus for me. "Great location, comfortable bed. It is cramped, but it’s a hostel after all. I’d stay again if I return to Tokyo. I needed assistance checking in and was not able to reach a staff member at the phone number provided. Fortunately one of the travelers in our group figured out a solution. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service."

"Literally avoid this hotel at all costs. There was literal blood in the showers, most of the guests were American and of course, they're very loud obnoxious and selfish. In the capsule room they were walkinf with shoes on, speakinf loudly at 7am and so on. I feel bad for the manager working because she did her best but what can you do with selfish tourists?"

"We stayed in a 2-bed room for 10 nights. You should expect the bathroom to be small, but it has everything we needed. The hotel has a common area kitchen, which we didn't use much, but also the room itself had a little fridge and a table. There is a laundromat literally across the street if you need to do laundry. The staff was SO nice the entire time!!! We really enjoyed our stay here while in Japan!"

"It is a perfect stay if you are budget minded. There is a lawson and matsuya next to the hostel as well as the hostel being a cafe itself. If you want to go to shimokitazawa or shinjuku you can take yoyogi hachiman which is close by. The beds are comfortable, have two power outlets, and storage for 2 medium sized luggage. The staff clean and mop the floor everyday around 12pm"

"Staff were great and spoke English. Room was fairly small and had a bit of sewage order in the bathroom, which the hotel seem to know about since there was air freshener and they turned the fans on when they cleaned. Breakfast buffet looked ok but not exceptional, we did not purchase. Room was quiet with good heating controls. One side of the bed did not have an outlet or any charging ports, which was a bit annoying. "

"Close to shops and walkable distance from train stations. It's actually away from the sketchier part of Shinjuku so you don't encounter the touts on your walking path to main shopping area or the train stations. I have stayed there twice and will be staying s third time when I visit again in a few days."

Apa Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower

"APA hotel is simple and clean. This location is in Korea town and there's a bunch of late night options for food. Lots of shopping in the area as well. I only know of 2 train stations near-by, there could be more but I only used 2. Staff was very nice and helpful. They were also knowledgeable."

"The connection to Shibuya station makes this hotel an unbeatable place to stay in Shibuya. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful with coordinating luggage transfers. The facilities were overall great though the bathroom in the hotel room could use an update. Would definitely stay here again!"
