"We had such a great stay at this property! It was an easy walk from the train station, and to the main streets as well. Staff was so kind and informative. They provided us with yukatas that kept us very warm while walking around. Staying here also gave us a pass to all the onsens! We also opted for the breakfast option, and it was a beautiful, traditional spread. Loved this hotel and area - what a great experience!"

"We stayed one night as a quick visit. The hotel is located at the end of the onsen strip. It's a older hotel. Lights are dimmer than the ones in the cities. We like that we get futons and sleep on the floor. Front desk staff speaks limited English, but they try their best to answer our questions. "Really great hotel outside of the of the hubbub. Spa is basic but wonderful not crowded. The surrounding area is full of nature and boats. It’s quiet and it’s peaceful. Our room was a traditional room with the tatami mats. It had a kettle and little sweet treats. Overall it was great. Would stay there again even though it’s on the other side of the river. We came by bike and we could park our bikes no problem. "

"This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is stunning. The manager went above & beyond on multiple occasions, personally escorting us to restaurants around the town and even helping us book bus tickets to get back to Tokyo! The rooms are spacious, clean & beautiful. They had great amenities including a Dyson hairdryer & free laundry which was a lifesaver for us! The breakfast was delicious as well.
