The food I was served was incredible and worth almost as much as I paid for the hotel room. The onsen at the hotel is better than most of the public ones in town. "Wonderful stay. Friendly, professional and accommodating staff from the moment we drove up to the property to when we depart. The staff even helped to sort out our luggage delivery to the next accommodation in another city. Our hostess Matsuri was sweet, polite and gracious. The property itself is beautiful and exudes an old-world charm, and our room with in-room onsen is such a treat. The meals we had were also delicious and thoughtfully prepared and presented. We had a lovely time at Nishimuraya Honkan and hope to return again."

"Tsukimotoya Ryokan provided a memorable and authentic ryokan experience for our family. Only a few minutes from the main onsen baths (yanagiyu, ichinoyu, goshonoyu, konouyu and jizoyu). The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner were amazing and so delicious. The warm hospitality provided to us felt like we were staying with family instead of at a public ryokan. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended. "

"The hotel is in a beautiful location but if you want to go into town it’s a very long walk. Hotel offers shuttle service but limited schedule to return. Very few taxis available. The staff is very helpful to accommodate you but you must plan in advance. The onsen in the hotel is very nice with stunning ocean views."
