"This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!"

"Where to start, this Ryokan was spectacular. The hotel is beautiful in its traditional style with extremely friendly staff who couldn't have done more. The hotel is a nice ten minute walk from the main area but offer free transfers from the hotel to the onsens. We never used it because the walk was so pleasant. The onsen they provide is lovely with an indoor and outdoor area, the traditional set meals they have was equally brilliant. We will absolutely come back here in the future!"

"We stayed one night as a quick visit. The hotel is located at the end of the onsen strip. It's a older hotel. Lights are dimmer than the ones in the cities. We like that we get futons and sleep on the floor. Front desk staff speaks limited English, but they try their best to answer our questions. "This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is stunning. The manager went above & beyond on multiple occasions, personally escorting us to restaurants around the town and even helping us book bus tickets to get back to Tokyo! The rooms are spacious, clean & beautiful. They had great amenities including a Dyson hairdryer & free laundry which was a lifesaver for us! The breakfast was delicious as well.
