"I had an amazing time at Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei—every minute was a true pleasure. The stay includes free access to all 7 public onsens in Kinosaki, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional, with beautifully prepared meals that highlighted local flavors. What truly stood out was the outstanding hospitality. Every staff member was incredibly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable, making me feel genuinely cared for. I especially appreciated the serene natural setting and the private onsen options, which offered peaceful moments of relaxation. The spa massage was wonderful, and the shuttle service to and from the train station made everything so convenient. I felt blessed, rejuvenated, and completely at ease during my stay. I’m already looking forward to returning. "

"I was welcomed so warmly. I was escorted to my room was wonderful, clean, comfortable and they made me a pot of team an explained were everything was to be found. Kaki was so warm and helpful. She answered all my questions so well and really made the experience extra. So its a 10/10 and because of Kaki its a 11/10!"

"Cute property with wonderful staff. I can't say enough about the hospitality that we enjoyed here. The staff is incredibly thoughtful and helpful. The property has fun decorations and a great view from the eating area on second floor. The food is plentiful! I have a very bad reaction to chemical MSG which is a flavor enhancer used in many Japanese foods. The staff was very helpful in helping me avoid this. Previous to arriving, based on the communication over email I was not sure if I would be able to eat at the hotel, but once we were there it was very clear how they were able to help with my dietary restriction and the food was great. I also forgot a pair of shoes in the lobby and they had it sent to Tokyo. Really great service. "

"Town is small and walkable so location doesn’t matter but this was right on the main waterway with a great view of the little town. Room and accommodation was clean and quiet. Everyone was super friendly and provided a ton of information on where to eat and which onsens were their faves. They were on the money with their recs. Will def stay here again if I ever find myself back in the town!"
