The room could have used a better cleaning. We asked a few times for more toilet paper and never got any. The television did not work due faulty wiring. "Staff is lovely. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. We did not feel safe at all outside of the Pousada at any point. During the day, street vendors will harass you. During the night, shady cars with full blacked out windows will cruise through the street slowly. Lots of homeless people will approach you. Staff at restaurants do not seem welcoming to tourists."

"Don't be put off by the slightly shabby appearance of this Pousada, it has character. Clean with a great breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended. "
