"Due to a glitch with booking, we got given a better room at a cheaper price. We were able to occupy, what appeared to be, a 4 bedded dorm with our own private, extremely spacious bathroom for just the 2 of us, for 4 nights. The hostel is well located in an area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Only 15-20 minutes bus ride to Barra for the beach and a further 10 minutes to get to old town. "The hostel is a few steps from the beach and the buess to pelourinho, airport & bus station are just in front. Michael is very helpfull, take note of every tip that he gives you, I told him my trip plans and he help me to organize to save time and money!. The people working there are very kind and even if sometimes the dont understand some things they do everything they can to help and understand, and in the worst case they call Michael. The view from the terrace is amazing!"

"É imundo. Tem 15 camas no quarto e não 12. Muitas camas de difícil acesso. O quarto e o banheiro estavam imundos. Não tinha tirado nem a roupa de cama da hóspede anterior. "Beautiful colonial hotel. Excellent breakbast and rooms (with patios and garden). The staff was was always nice, and helping us. The neighbourhood is safe, with a lot of options. Paciencia beach very near. Excellent!"
