"This is a very well cared for villa in a great spot just outside La Orotava. It is located in a beautiful garden, very secluded and quiet. The villa is well equipped and comfortable. The pool is a good size for swimming. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. We would recommend this villa to anyone!"

Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. Before leaving we didn’t hesitate to book for next winter"

"If you want a quiet stay in the mountains, in a beautifully restored old house, then this is for you. I loved this place, especially once I got the fire going and a good meal with wine. It is like going back in time, so much character and tasteful antique decor. Its only a 7 min drive to the coast road. There are tapas bars near by which I didn't try, as was happy to cook. If you are looking for nightlife, noise and the latest mod cons, its not for you. However, it does have good facilities;...

"OK indretning og beliggenheden er fin. Stille og rolig område, nemt at parkere. Lejligheden bærer præg af ualmindelig dårlig vedligeholdelse. Den er beskrevet med tre badeværelser, det er der ikke, der er to og et toilet. Rigtig mange småting som er utrolig irriterende. I alt var syv pærer sprunget. Køkken ting er ikke suppleret. Ok køl og frys, ovnen pæn og ren, men ingen plader og fade. En parasol som var så gammel og mør at den var revnet.To solsenge som var stive af års skidt. Det tog en dag...

"Juan was an amazing host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We had an fabulous 2 weeks and the location is quiet and remote. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet not so if you looking for hustle and bustle. The Finca is well equiped and very well furnished. The wood burning hot tub was a very nice touch. Definitely coming back here if we head back to Tenerife."

"We had a delightful time staying in Luca and Lucia's lovely casita. They were excellent hosts very warm and welcoming and accommodating. Perfect location with easy access to beautiful nature and walks as well access to local supermercados within walking distance and the buzzy "downtown" of Valle Gran Rey offering good bakeries, fresh fish at the puerto. Also enjoyed late afternoons swimming in the warm ocean and relaxing on the playa after a long walk.Thank you too to Heike for coordinating. "

"If you're looking for a place to recharge your batteries this is it. Took a bit of finding (keep going to end of the road when you turn onto Camino del Chamizo) and the roads are very steep, but was worth the effort. The house is well equipped and spacious. The views from the outside area are spectacular. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will hopefully be back."

"The hotel was redeveloped in 2024 and is bright and modern. Staff, especially housekeeping (daily) were wonderful. However, we had issues with noise from neighbouring rooms. We could hear voices and the TV through the walls. We also had issue with. the food hall. It was often over crowded and waiting time to get into the food hall at breakfast and for evening meals could be lengthy. The food quality was average. On one occasion, I found a large piece of wire in my pasta. I also had food poisoning, which is no surprise given the crowds in the food hall and hygiene habits of some guests. We stopped going to the food hall after the food poisoning incident. Unfortunately, most resort hotels in the area adopt the food hall method of feeding guests. Also disappointed that use of the gym costs extra. The sports bar was never open. We stayed almost four weeks at the hotel and overall we were very disappointed."

Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife - All Inclusive

"Lovely hotel and looked exactly like the photos. We also liked Pedro and Jorge from the specialist restaurants. Only problem was that We had a birthday and they didn’t actually do anything for you and told us too late that we could have paid to have the name on the castle. Also the buffet and pizza restaurants were too short staffed at times. "
