"Good price for value - one night stay, single person traveller on my own car. Good communication from hotel soon after booking about a function and possible music / noise during the night of my stay, luckily that I'm not much affected due to late check-in. Plenty of parking which is a plus. Overall satisfied."

"Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. "Corridors & hotel room tired e.g. torn wallpaper, scuffed table. Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. Fantastic facilities & grounds & felt very festive!"

"Travelled with my 2 children aged 8 and 2. We had the King bed and the room was well presented, although carpet looked worn in and the bath needed a once over when we arrived. My son was invited to join a martial arts class when we checked in so he was pleased! We ordered food from the restaurant while he was in the class.
