"The staff were wonderful! Very friendly, helpful, pleasant, hands down the best! We got a room with a balcony & it was clean, comfortable, nice lighting, closet had hangers, & the room was pleasant. "Great place if you're looking for something nice and affordable. This isn't a 5-star hotel but if you want to stay near the locals and be close to the main roads this is a good place to stay my only complaint is that the bathroom was a bit small but it wasn't an issue. "

"Staying at a 5 star hotel I expect certain things. Shower head was busted spraying water all over the ceiling. Blackout shade was missing from one of our windows. Popcorn crumbs outside our door for the 4 days we were there that were never vacuumed. (Not our crumbs). Hotel was quick to address but annoying nonetheless. Service at the pool was so slow. Never got the food I ordered. Took 45 minutes to get the coffee I ordered at breakfast. Food and drink insanely expensive. $25 for a pina colada??...

"Having booked for 4 nights post our cruise holiday, we were upgraded to a bigger room so that we would be more comfortable. And it was. The room was very basic but it was spacious with one double and one single bed. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well every night. The services from all staff were excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic as it was very easy to walk everywhere within the old San Juan. The rooftop area was nice to sit in the evening. "
